Cathelijne has been working as a lawyer in real estate law since 2008, specializing in tenancy law. She joined Pot Jonker Advocaten in 2022, after having formed part of the real estate departments of Stibbe and Simmons & Simmons LLP for 13 years.

Cathelijne advises and if necessary litigates for tenants, landlords, purchasers, vendors, project developers and (institutional) investors on all matters relating to the lease (out) of real estate. This can relate to housing, office space, logistics or industrial real estate, healthcare real estate, retail space, restaurants, hotels and holiday parks.

Within tenancy law, Cathelijne especially has a great deal of experience in negotiating lease agreements in the context of real estate transactions (sale & lease back, triple net) and in the context of a (re)development of commercial real estate.

Cathelijne is a member of the Association of Tenancy Lawyers, for which she completed the post-graduate specialization course cum laude. In addition to her work as a lawyer, Cathelijne is a permanent contributor to the leading Dutch magazine for Commercial Tenancy Law, in which she regularly publishes.
