Corporate social responsibility

We see our role as a lawyer as a broader role than just providing legal advice. Our wide-ranging social perspective enables us to serve our clients even better. We express our social commitment in various ways.

Partner for social and cultural goals

We make an active contribution to cultural and social causes. We serve as the main sponsor of the Haarlem Theatre and Concert Hall (Stadsschouwburg & Philharmonie Haarlem), the Haarlem Performing Arts Stage (Toneelschuur) and the ABC Architecture Centre. We are also a sponsor of the Landscape North-Holland nature protection organization. Next to that we share our knowledge and experience to support the rights of lawyers abroad through our participation in Lawyers for Lawyers and we support idealistic organizations in realizing their ambitions through our partnership with Impact Matters. Our firm makes an annual physical contribution to a charity or institution. And almost all our lawyers hold various voluntary positions in the boards of various cultural and social institutions.

Sustainability

To make our work as environmentally friendly as possible we invest in various sustainability measures. We facilitate energy-efficient transport by making bicycles and our office’s electric car available to everyone in the office.
